News, by mfe.

The Spanish and Panamanian delegations of Castilla de Oro Foundation meet to celebrate their achievements.

Spain and Panama, ever closer

July will be a special month for Panama’s central provinces. A series of events will celebrate the success of the projects carried out in the region by Foundation Castilla del Oro.

Spain and Panama are once again joining forces  to bring the inhabitants of the Castilla del Oro region culture, tourism, development and infrastructures.

Between the 20th and 27th of this month, the President of the Castilla del Oro Foundation in Spain, Cristobal Colón de Carvajal, will lead a Spanish delegation and meet Panamanian authorities taking part in a series of visits to institutions and cultural acts, such as the placing of the image of the Apostle Saint James in the square at Natá.

The presence of Sociedad de Gestión Pública de Extremadura (GPEX), represented by General Manager Jaime Ruiz Peña, is also especially important and the public body will agree a cooperation arrangement between the two entities and foster an approach to the Colón Province authorities with the aim of re-launching San Lorenzo Fort as an international tourist destination.
