The manager of Panama Desarrollo de Infraestructura (PDI), Jose Luis Dieguez, stated that as the executive arm of Petaquilla Gold, S.A., this company performs several different duties including the works of drilling, earthmoving, and environmental services, as well as executing all the action plans that are offered at the mine camps.
As a part of the vanguard vision of Eng. Richard Fifer Carles, these tasks were appointed to PDI, with the purpose of offering at the mine camps kitchen services, facility maintenance, and laundry services, as well as all the construction of civil works of the mining project, explained Dieguez.
He also mentioned that within the mining activities, PDI executes civil works, and is considering establishing, in the future, a construction products manufacturing line with the residual clay from the mineral extraction, among other initiatives that go beyond the mine’s lifespan.
